Come celebrate the pleasure of winter sports with us !

The Recreations department in partnership with Sentier Chelsea Trails and Voie Verte Chelsea is pleased to invite you to the Winter Fun Day Event!

Activities to entertain the whole family taking place on the Chelsea Winter Trail and in Farm Point park!




Ski Challenge programming
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 


Come ski, walk, fat bike or snowshoe the winter community trail! Prizes to win!

To take part in the challenge, collect an available entry card at each access point and have it stamped at each booth you pass through. You will need to write your name and contact information on it and give it to a manager at one of the access points at the end of your trip. The draw will take place at the end of the day.

Finish the day by warming up with a chili dish at the Mill Road Community Centre, offered by Voie Verte Chelsea ($3 - cash only).


Departures from one of the six community trail access points :


  • Farm Point Community Centre / 331 de la Rivière Road (parking and trail access)
  • Club Cascades / 100, ch. de la Rivière (refreshments and access to the trail)
  • Larrimac Golf Club /1148 Route 105 (parking and access to the trail)
  • Kirk's Ferry Road / (refreshments, trail access, no parking)
  • Mill Road Community Space / 8 Mill Road, (refreshments, access to the trail)
  • CLSC Building / 490 Route 105 (parking, access to pathway)




Family programming
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Take part in our friendly hockey game at Farm Point Park and come build a snow castle with your family. On site snack and hot chocolate.

Heated service cabin on site. 



Introduction to cross-country skiing
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.


If you’ve never done cross-country skiing before, come and try it for free on our beginner trail located at the Chelsea CLSC. On site you will have at your disposal ski, boots and poles!


Jazz concert at Mill Road Community Space
4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Transcollines will offer a free shuttle service between the six access points.
  • Snacks and hot chocolate will be available at kiosks on the trail.
  • Dogs on leash are accepted on the trail
  • Outdoor fireplaces will be installed at all access points
