Laying of the final foundation of the Community Trail

October 15, 2020

Work on the final foundation on the Community Trail is well underway! Within a few weeks, the entire Community Trail should be finalized.

The trail foundation is made of crushed stone (MG20B - 0 ¾'') and is currently being laid in two phases. A first team is spreading the material and a second team is compacting and levelling it.

Currently, the first team has spread the material over 13 km from the northern limit to the Chemin Gleneagle and is currently working to complete the section between Chemin Gleneagle and Chemin Church.

Curious to see the final result? You can already test it between the northern limit and Chemin de la Rivière. The material has already been compacted and only minor repairs remain to be done!

Enjoy the Community Trail safely!

Physical distancing measures also apply when enjoying the Community Trail. Gatherings are prohibited and it is important to maintain a distance of two metres from others. These measures are in place to slow the spread of the virus and especially to protect the most vulnerable people.
