The Municipality of Chelsea is proud to announce the launch of Pivot, its new online citizen portal.
Developed by the Quebec digital agency Blanko and with a brand created by Orkestra, Gatineau's design agency, in collaboration with the Communications Department, the platform was designed with the specific needs of residents in mind.
The platform's objectives are simple: to make communications between residents and the municipal administration more efficient and accessible, as well as to centralize all online services in one place.
The Municipality is planning a second launch in autumn 2024 to encourage as many residents as possible to sign up for the platform.
Sending personalized notices and alerts
Pivot delivers personalized notifications and alerts on various subjects via email, text messaging and automated calls. Residents can select their notification preferences (e.g. collection reminders, aqueduct system, municipal life, road works and more). This functionality will become particularly crucial during emergency measures.
Permit applications
Residents can now conveniently apply for permits online and stay updated with file notifications sent directly to their email address, making the process faster and more efficient.
Reports
Whether you want to inform the Municipality about the state of the road network or the delay of a collection, the platform allows you to submit requests, non-urgent reports, and complaints. A processing e-mail is also sent to the applicant.
Access to other municipal platforms
Through Pivot, residents can sign up for the monthly municipal newsletter and utilize the Cocoriko public consultation platform.

The Municipality encourages residents to create an account now. Putting in place this platform is part of the "responsible operations and services" strategic pillar of the Chelsea 2040 Strategic Plan, which aims to place citizens at the heart of municipal actions and achievements.
