Recycling collection delayed today

Please note that the contractor responsible for recycling collection is delayed in its operations today. Concerned residents are invited to leave their bins at the curb, collection will resume tomorrow during the day.

Native shoreline plants distribution at the Chelsea Market on June 23

Residents are invited to pick up plants at the Chelsea Market on June 23 between 4:00 and 7:00 pm. Planting instructions will be provided. The plants are free and voluntary contributions are welcome.

Situation report: storm of May 21

The Meredith Centre, located at 23 Cecil Road, will remain open for residents who still do not have electricity. The Meredith Centre will be open between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on May 26.

Flood Management: Lowering of the Gatineau River level upstream of the Chelsea Dam

The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to inform its residents that Hydro-Quebec has lowered the water level upstream of the Chelsea dam to below 96 metres, 1.5 metres higher than the usual level.
