A few people came with me to show their support, including Ms. Stéphanie Vallée, Member for Gatineau and Minister responsible for the Outaouais region.
It is with great enthusiasm that the Mayor of Chelsea, Mrs. Caryl Green and the municipal Councillor and Chair of the Recreation, Sports, Culture and Community Life Committee, Mr. Pierre Guénard, announced a grant of $150,000 from Jays Care Foundation, the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays, for an upgrade of the municipal ballpark.
