As the days of summer wind down, our thoughts turn once more to the regular patterns of school, work and our fall leisure and social activities. On behalf of Council, I would like to thank all who contributed to, and participated in, the summer's many activities and celebrations that make our community so vibrant! A special note of congratulations to the Larrimac Golf Club who celebrated their 90th anniversary this year, making them one of the oldest community groups!
Please note that anyone who is interested in visiting artists living in the Farm Point area during the Chelsea Wakefield Studio Tour can circulate on de la Rivière Road during the Sunday Biking activity, even if there is a panel indicating local traffic only.
For security reasons, we encourage everyone to share the road during these activities which have a common schedule for a few hours.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation and wish you a wonderful Sunday!

The Municipality of Chelsea wishes to inform its residents and tourists traveling within its territory that it will be lowering the speed limit on Scott Road as of Oct 4, 2014.
The Municipal Council made this decision at its regular meeting of July 7th. All of Scott Road will be affected; areas where the speed was 60 km/h will now be 50 km/h and the school area will become a 30 km/h zone. The objective is obviously to improve the safety for all using this road, as well as for the students of du Grand-Boisé, located in the heart of this area.
For security reasons, we remind you to stay out of the work area to avoid accidents. If you have questions about the work, please contact Roxanne Beaulne at 819-827-1124 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
