What is an oversized item?

 

An oversized item is a waste that, because of its size or volume, cannot be placed in your waste bin.


Bulky waste collection

Residents can take advantage of the collection to dispose of certain items, provided they comply with the new terms.

How to dispose of oversized items?

Bulky items collection takes place at the same time as regular collection, but via separate trucks.

Leave your items at the curb, at a distance of one metre from your regular bins.

 

Rules and regulations

  • A limit of six bulky waste items is allowed.
     
  • Items must be placed at the curb no later than 7 a.m. on the morning of collection day, or no earlier than 7 p.m. the day before.
     
  • Each item must not exceed 50 kg and the maximum dimension of 3 metres on the longest side.
     
  • Bulky items must be deposited together, but at a distance of one metre from the bins for regular collection to take place.
     
  • Make sure your item is an accepted bulky item.

Please note that only items identified in the list below will be picked up.

 

Wood: wooden furniture (cupboards, tables, chairs), doors and shutters, wooden boards and pallets

Plastic: bulky toys (slides, small pools, children's cabins), plastic garden chairs and tables, broken storage bins

Glass: windows and mirrors, aquariums, tables with glass tops (if possible, break the glass and put it in a bag)

Fabrics and foam: mattresses and box springs, upholstered sofas and armchairs, carpets and rugs

Ceramics and concrete: washbasins and bathtubs, broken tiles, terracotta flowerpots
