What is e-waste?
E-waste includes outdated or broken electronic equipment, such as:
- Cameras
- Cellphones, cordless phones, and land lines
- Computers
- Computer monitors
- Other electronic and computer accessories
- Printers, scanners, and fax machines
- Televisions

How to dispose of e-waste
You can now dispose of small electronic waste at Town Hall (100 Chemin d'Old Chelsea). These can be placed in the Electrobac at reception.
What's accepted:
- Chargers and cables;
- Peripherals;
- Small electronics;
- Ink cartridges.
What is refused:
- Batteries;
- Light bulbs;
- CDs, DVDs and VHS;
- Large electronics.
Larger electronic waste such as televisions, computers, etc. can be brought to the Ecocentre du Boulevard de la Carrière (860 Boulevard de la Carrière, Gatineau).
