The Recreation Department joins forces with the Chelsea Market to present an all-new format for the Musical Thursdays! To do so, we called on the expertise of La Fab sur Mill to provide artistic direction for the shows and help us organize the event.
Musical performances with a captivating rhythm await you this summer. Enjoy the market starting at 4:00 p.m. to stock up on market produce and discover a variety of artisans, producers, and exhibitors.
From there, you can head to the stage located on the Meredith Centre soccer fields at 6:00 p.m., where you'll be able to sit back and enjoy the musical concerts. Don't forget to bring your own chair or blanket for a picnic!
In case of bad weather, instructions will be posted on this web page and on the Municipality's Facebook page.

Chelsea Market welcomes several booths that sell food to be enjoyed on-site. There's something for everyone and every taste.

Washrooms are located inside the Meredith Centre, on the first floor.
Things to do on site
The Meredith Center offers knitting classes and artistic workshops all throughout the Chelsea Market. See website for details.
We invite residents to prioritize active transportation to the event. Additional bike racks are added to the site.
However, parking will be available at the following locations:
- Parking lots near the Meredith Centre soccer fields
- Chelsea Elementary School (74 Chemin Old Chelsea)

Le Jazz de partout
Style : Various jazz styles
Discover the great artistic movement that is Jazz with singers Michèle Castonguay and Samantha Christ François. They'll take you through the streams of Broadway, the Great Songbook and music from many lands. They will be accompanied by trumpeter Ron Ferguson, bassist Neil Sealy, and pianist and storyteller Karl Nerenberg.

Waked Up! Band
Style : Soul and funk
Move to the incredible rhythms of the Waked Up! Band. This group of eight local musicians, featuring a three-piece horn section, percussion, and guitars, will have you dancing to their music and their powerful vocals. It's a musical event you don't want to miss!

Jane and Kyle
Style : Fiddle, Celtic violin
Canadian fiddle champions Jane Corie and Kyle Burghout will present a combination of traditional and contemporary melodies through innovative compositions. They will be accompanied by a pianist and guitarist to create a vibrant ambiance.
